Beacon of Hope Uganda (BOHU) is a Community Based Humanitarian Service and Rural Development Organization founded in 2006 with a vision to help those least able to help themselves. To help achieve this vison, we are focused on a range of programs in Uganda including, Microfinance and Small Business Support, Job and Skills/Leadership Development and Training, Health and Environment, Education and many more. Our projects range from teaching children in outside classrooms, assisting in the setting up of vegetable gardens, Youth Health Talks, English Teaching, Feeding Animals as well as health outreach programs. At BOHU we have a number of opportunities to work as a volunteer with grassroots projects in rural Uganda, our volunteers are passionate, meticulous, upbeat and self-motivated, they assist in the various projects in Mukono and other districts we work. We are located in Mukono Kayunga Road P.o. Box 423 mukono Uganda, we are open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and closed on weekends.
